Operation of Thermoval T18 radiators
Thermoval T18 radiators are convector devices. This means that when the device is turned on, it sucks in cold air from the bottom, heats it with an efficient electric heater, and then warm, lighter air rises and spreads around the room. The advantage of convection heaters is that they heat up quickly, and thus change the ambient temperature in a dozen or so minutes. Convector heaters do not heat up to high temperatures, and yet they work very effectively and efficiently. Warm air comes out through the openwork casing, and the radiator warms up the room when the temperature drops too much.
Features of Thermoval T18 convector heaters
The convector heater of the T18 ED series is equipped with a weekly programmer and is suitable for various types of rooms, including those with a different type of heating, e.g. underfloor heating.
The radiators meet ERP/EKOPROJEKT standards. Although they are powered by electricity, the electronic thermostat and weekly programmer allow you to schedule the heating on for a specific time and until the desired temperatures are reached. They also sense when a window is open in the room. So they do not operate all the time and consume electricity only when it is necessary.
Thermoval T18 radiators have a heating power adjustment system to maintain the temperature in the room. They don't play at full power if there's no reason to.
The memory of five weekly programs and three weekly individual programs are used here at the factory.
